Recorded live from Perth, Sydney & France Webinar:

LNG Bunkering in Australia: How to Scale up & Diversify via Small Scale LNG

Date: 29 July 2020

Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM AWST

LNG-Marine Fuel Institute (LNG MFI) regularly invites experts to discuss topical issues regarding the innovation and development surrounding the emergence of LNG as a transport fuel.

As many of you are aware WA through Pilbara ports has been putting in place the building blocks for an LNG marine fuel industry. Including the implementation of LNG bunker port incentives, issuing an LNG ship to ship bunkering licence (in addition to the long-standing truck to ship bunkering licence). These activities are to support and service the soon expected tendering of LNG fuelled iron ore carriers to operate from Pilbara Ports.

On the back of this success, LNG MFI is holding a webinar to look at the opportunities on the east coast of Australia and explore examples of successful Small-Scale LNG facilities.

Jonathan Abrahams, Head of Maritime Advisory, Regional Representative Australia, New Zealand with DNV GL will start the webinar by sharing the findings from DNV GL recent study of the market for the east coast focusing on Fremantle, Gladstone and Newcastle.

This will be followed by a presentation from Fraser Bennie, Global Director, LNG, Hydrogen & Marine with Chart Industries who will present scalable configurations for LNG bunkering in these ports based on examples from around the world.
